Foundered in July 1998 the building received an extensive refurbishment to convert the once, chemist and adjoining flats into an environment suitable to care for babies and young children.  The building was then inspected prior to opening and we opened to the public on March 17th 1999.

With just a handful of children on role the owners Sharon and Tracey were committed to employing and delivering quality care and education to local children at an affordable cost.  Both Sharon and Tracey were born and raised in the community and want to make a difference for our future generations.  Providing children with opportunities for learning in a safe, secure and loving environment is essential for a child to be able to learn and progress. 

It is with great pleasure that we will be celebrating the nursery's birthday at the Jubilee Club in Chaddesden on Friday 22nd March.  Invitations will be sent to both past and present families who are, or have been registered with First Friends provision.  The event will require the purchase of a ticket as numbers will be limited  to the occupancy of the venue.  Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.  More details on this will be available nearer the time.
