Out of School Clubs
Firstly, we would like to welcome Charlotte Baker to the First Friends team, we hope you will all make Charlotte feel very welcome, Charlotte will be working across all settings.
The out of school clubs have just finished a brilliant fun packed summer holiday, we would like to thank all the children for making it a summer holiday to remember!
October half term booking forms are now available, if you would like a form to complete please ask a member of staff. We have two very exciting trips planned for this week, on Tuesday 29th the children will be going ‘High ropes and zip wire challenges’ in Birmingham, please note your child has to be 8 years or above to go on this trip and there are limited places available. On Wednesday 30th the children will be going to ‘Bluebells’s Interactive Halloween event’ where there will be a live show of beasts, exotic creatures and pumpkin picking and carving! There is lots of other exciting Halloween activities planned on Monday, Thursday and Friday.
Each out of school club have been enjoying weekly activities throughout this term. These activities have been exploring different topics such as science, mathematics, creative and baking. At First Friends we strive to provide quality out of school care, where the children are able to engage in fun learning experiences in a relaxed environment.
Whilst parents/carers are dropping and collecting their children from clubs, can we ask that they be considerate of the teachers who need to park their cars at this time.
Can we also remind parents/carers that the out of school clubs close at 6pm promptly, as the school requires to be fully locked up by this time.
We hope you all enjoy the Autumn months!
